Pilot Wire System
Ideal for new build applications. Utilises control wire linked between each heater. No additional receiver necessary. Up to twenty heaters per zone. The pilot wire is a live 240v conductor carrying a low current to switch the heater mode. Pilot wire circuits for each zone must be joined through the ring main, either using an additional live conductor or a suitable 4-core cable. To comply with IEE wiring regulations, the pilot wire must be isolated adjacent to each ehater.



Mains Borne Signalling
Ideal for use in existing buildings. Signals sent between heaters using existing mains wiring. Receiver cassette (RX9913) required in each heater. Electronic identity codes prevent interference with receivers in different zones or buildings. Amodulated signal is transmitted to each heater over the existing twin and earth wiring. Heaters and controllers should be connected to the same circuit and should be on the same phase. A suitable phase coupler must be used to transmit across 3-phases
