The effects of poor ventilation are usually stale air, damp and condensation. Cooking smells and the odours from bathrooms etc often linger or drift through the house.

All these problems can be easily remedied.

For best results, always turn the fan on before you start cooking, washing, taking a shower or bath and close internal doors leading to the rest of the house or building. In certain circumstances, particularly in bathrooms where a lot of steam is created, or in toilets to remove smells, a timer unit may be required to provide a period of overrun after the room has been vacated...
 




Rooms with Double Glazing
Xpelair GX and DX100 (window models) may be installed in a hermatically sealed double glazing system if a special sealed unit (with correct size hole pre-cut) is obtained from the double glazing manufacturer. DX models will also require a double glazing kit reference DXDG.

For fitting the GX range in secondary glazing and casement windows a double window kit reference GXDW will be required...
