A tamperproof cover conceals user controls, located on the front panel. There is a variable input control to adjust the charge acceptance between minimum and maximum to suit changing weather conditions. The user can manually control a quiet two speed fan by selecting either normal or boost fan speeds. A day energy switch enables off-peak energy to provide supplementary warm air delivery when heat in the core is depleted. This facility is only available on the Economy 7 commercial tariff. In commercial applications an external time clock may be fitted to give complete control and ensure fan operation ceases at close of business. Connection to an external thermostat provides additional control by regulating the operation of the fan to maintain comfort conditions.

| Heating Element and Thermal Insulation... The heating element is constructed from KanthalD iron/aluminium alloy sheathed in quartz tubes. The basic insulation is made from microporus silica and mineral wool. Air passages and base are is moulded Vermiculite. |

Units can be connected to 240v or 415v ac three phase and operate on all cheap rate tariffs. Connection of main supply is via DIN connectors complete with linking bars to enable single or three phase choice to be made on site.Internal wiring incorporates a plug-in linking block to allow different wiring and tariff options to be made on site. Every unit is therefore capable of being wired on site to accommodate single or three phase Economy 7 (white meter) tariffs or single or three phase standard off peak tariffs.

The cabinet is constructed from 0.8mm zinc coated mild steel finish with polyester/epoxy powder coated paint.A washable polyester air filter is located in the detachable filter frame at the front of the unit. All live and moving parts are completely screened by a fixed mesh when the filter is removed.A Plenum Chamber Kit, complete with three air register grilles, is ordered and supplied as a separate component. The plenum kit (PLEN/12) is standard to all Electricaire models although it may not be required where replacement units are being installed. |
