Dimplex Single Zone Programming Cassettes


	Controls for EVX, EVS, RPX, Calidou and Apollo ranges Compatible with the EVX, EVS, RPX, Calidou and Apollo electronic panel heater ranges, Dimplex programming cassettes provide fully programmable, energy saving control over a group of up to twenty panel heaters, controlling the output based on room occupancy and temperature requirements. The programmers switch the heater between comfort and setback temperature settings and are programmable for each hour of a seven day period. A programming cassette installed in one heater acts as the master control. Other heaters connected to the same circuit follow the master time programme. Individual temperature control of each heater is maintained.




Pilot Wire System A Master Control (Part No RX9911) transmits a control signal using 4th core pilot wire of the mains cable. This 230v live conductor carries a very low current to activate the setback mode on the heater electronic control. To connect heaters, all pilot wires on a circuit must be joined through the ring main, either using an additional live conductor or a suitable 4-core cable. Using hard wired signalling, no receiver is needed, offering a cost effective means of centrol control. The pilot wire system is ideal for new biuild applications.




	Mains Borne Signalling This system uses standard twin and earth wiring to carry a modulated signal. To ensure signal integrity, the controller will continue to send signals to other heaters until confirmation is received back. To protect against signal leakage from the property, each controller/receiver interface has a four digit identity code programmed by the installer. The MBS system comprises of a master control (part no RX9912) and receiver modules (part no RX9913) fitted to each of the slave heaters. For multi-zone applications there must be one master heater/programmer for each zone. The Mains Borne System is ideal for use in existing buildings.
