	Thermal Tilebacker Boards Thermal Tilebacker Boards are ideal for use where underfloor heating is to be laid onto an uninsulated subfloor or into a room such as a conservatory with high heat loss. Even at only 6mm thickness, these boards offer a very effective insulation layer beneath underfloor heating (10mm and 20mm boards are also available). An underfloor heating system laid onto Thermal Tilebacker Board will react faster and will run more efficiently than a system laid directly onto a concrete base. Thermal Tilebacker Boards should be fully secured to the base using suitable flexible tile adhesive or screwed into position on wooden bases with the aid of metal fixing washers (suitable for use with 10mm boards only). TTB reinforcement tape should be used when laying the boards to provide a secure join beneath separate panels.
