	XIM Domestic Inline Mixed Flow Extract Fans Traditionally centrifugal ducted systems have been bulky and noisy. Well not any more. The new low profile Xpelair XIM units provide plenty of useable power for domestic ducted applications and save on space too. The seven models in the range are ideal for ducted applications where space is limited, such as in bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens and other internal rooms without opening windows. Available in four sizes, the new Xpelair XIM range of plastic mixed flow units offers duties for a wide range of ducted applications. They are dimensionally smaller than centrifugal units and with lower sound levels these units can often eliminate the need for a silencer. All models come complete with a convenient mounting cradle which makes installation or subsequent inspection simple. The terminal box is easily accessible simplifying the electrical connection. XIM units are either IPX2 or IPX4. Those rated IPX4 can be used in wet room ducted applications. Their plastic construction will not deteriorate in high humidity conditions. They are double insulated and suitable for operation on a supply voltage 220 - 240V 50Hz. All motors are maintenance free with greased for life bearings, and have safety overload protection.
