Xpelair Xplus 2 Multi-point Domestic and Commercial Ventilation System
The Xplus 2 is a high performing central extract system designed to continuously extract stale, moist air from all wet areas, such as kitchens and bathrooms.

The unit is primarily used in domestic applications but can also be used for commercial applications where continuous extract is required.

The multi-spigot design offers the installer greater flexibility when choosing where to site the unit and also due to the spigot configuration, allows any ducting to be connected from any direction, therefore reducing airflow restriction and noise. The unit is suitable for either horizontal or vertical installation.

The Xpelair Xplus 2 has one 125mm discharge spigot to atmosphere and up to five 125mm spigots from the the dwelling, depending on the total volume required. Three blanking plates are also supplied.

Xpelair Profile 60 rectangular duct or 125mm rigid and flexible insulated or uninsulated duct
can be used with the system.

The Xpelair Xplus 2 system can be mounted either in a roof space, ceiling void or within a kitchen cupboard.

It can be mounted horizontally, vertically or inverted.

A typical installation shows the system mounted in the loft space of a domestic dwelling. In this installation it shows the duct to atmosphere going through the roof, however along as the outlet to atmosphere is vertical the unit can be discharged via a wall grille.

Although many kinds of ducting can be used - round rigid, flexible or flat duct - it is recommended that insulated ducting should be used where it passes through an unheated area, such as a roof void.

The many spigots of the unit allow connection from virtually any direction, thus reducing the amount of bends required in a system, therefore reducing airflow restriction and ultimately noise.
